Each participants completed the Self-esteem Scale and Health promotion Lifestyle Scale.
The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS, yielding descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson¢¥s Product Moment Correlation. The result were as follows.

2) There was no significant difference between the two groups on self esteem (tom. 89, P=O. 377). But the self-exercise group had a higher mean score (28.46¡¾ 3.59) than the no self-exercise group (27.72¡¾4.67).
3) There was significant difference between the two groups on the health promotion lifestyle profile (t=3.28, P=O. 001). The self-exercise group had a higher mean score (105.11 ¡¾ 11.61) than the no self-exercise group (97.30¡¾12.13).
4) Comparison of the order of the score. between the two groups for the self exercise group showed that the highest score was for stress management, then self-actualization, nutrition, exercise, interpersonal support and health responsibility in that order. For no self-exercise group showed that the highest score was for stress management, then self-actualization, interpersonal support,
nutrition, exercise and health responsibility in that order.
5) With regard to the relationship between health promotion lifestyle and self esteem, the correlation coefficient between self esteem and health promotion for the self-exercise group was 0.27, however for the no self-exercise group was 0.33 (P<0. 05).
